Our Home
Rivelin House is a nursing care home located in Sheffield. Our team provide high-quality clinical care and support for up to eight people with learning disabilities, Cerebral palsy, dementia, diabetes, mental health needs, Down’s syndrome and complex epilepsy.

Our experienced team empower the people we support to live happy and fulfilled lives, creating personalised care plans that are tailored to them, and the level of support they require.
The people we support are encouraged to join in on activities of their choice, such as karaoke, arts and crafts, baking and bingo.
Facilities
Our home has been adapted to meet the specific needs of the people we support.
Our eight bedrooms all have en-suite shower rooms, alongside ceiling tracking, to appropriately assist those with mobility needs.
We have plenty of spacious shared areas, including a large lounge, dining room, kitchen and a garden – great for enjoying outdoor games in the sunshine!
We also have a self-contained flat with it’s own kitchen, a living/dining area and a bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. The flat has a private garden, as well as access to the communal garden, which has a decked area suitable for wheelchair users.

The people we support enjoy getting out into the local community which helps foster their sense of independence and build valuable social skills. Some of their favourite destinations include the cinema, zoo, aquarium and the seaside!
We are conveniently located near great transport links, enabling us to take exciting trips further afield. Closer to home, we also have a large local park within walking distance where we can relax, explore and connect with nature.
Our Team
At Rivelin House we build meaningful relationships – like a family!
Ensuring the needs of each individual are correctly managed, we have a team of Nurses available at our home 24/7. We also have a waking night team member who supports individuals throughout the night, alongside an on-call system used for emergencies.
Our expert team receive specialist training in several key areas, such as epilepsy, diabetes and dysphagia.
