Our residents are encouraged to contribute to the running of our home– from planning the menu to interviewing staff and deciding on décor. By combining the experience of our highly skilled staff and the professional resources available to us at Melbreck we are able to offer each individual a comprehensive support package completed through a person-centred approach.
This includes physiotherapy assessments and programmes, detailed mealtime support placemats, Health Action Plans, Communication Profiles and detailed support guidelines.
Melbreck can offer a variety of in house and community based activities. This includes onsite physiotherapy and sensory rooms.
Some of our most popular sessions are pampering, Wii and interactive music sessions, trips to the local theatres, pubs, shopping centres, cinemas and garden centres.
The team
The staff team includes qualified nursing staff and highly trained support staff to ensure that all aspects of an individual’s needs are met.

It is within easy reach of our Grove Resource Centre in Hindhead which provides additional opportunities for education and learning, hydrotherapy and pool sessions, sensory sessions and a chance to meet friends for lunch.
