Linnet Mews
Our new residential care home Linnet Mews in Chesterfield, offers residential rehabilitation support for up to ten people who have suffered brain injuries. Specialising in active rehabilitation, the purpose-built service empowers individuals to regain lost skills and live more independently.
Utilising slow stream rehabilitation, the team at Linnet Mew look at individual needs, past traumas, and social circumstances to understand the support needed to successfully integrate back into a community setting.
For those who may require ongoing or permanent support, neighbouring brain injury services Markham House and Glasshouse Hill are available, where transfers may be possible to continue your brain injury journey. Together, the three services provide a circular approach to brain injury rehabilitation in the North.
Purpose-built home
Spread across two floors, this spacious home features six en-suite bedrooms for those in the early stages of their rehabilitation journey. The addition of four self-contained flats provides transition opportunities for those working towards living more independently.
Designed to deliver active rehabilitation, we have a dedicated therapy quarter located on the first floor. Comprising of a fully equipped gym and a therapy consultation room, it provides essential therapeutic support, such as Physiotherapy and Psychotherapy, in the comfort of a home setting.
Linnet Mews has been adapted for those with additional mobility needs and benefits from spacious communal areas and a purpose-built lift for accessibility to the first floor. An accessible bathroom is also available on the first floor for those that need additional support with personal care needs.
Located in a quiet cul-de-sac, the property is lined with trees and provides a peaceful environment, with local amenities a short distance away.
