Supporting You

Our renovated centre offers a range of sessions to support mental and physical health, including sensory-therapeutic activities, social opportunities, and creative sessions to build confidence and develop new skills.

We provide day opportunities, respite for carers, and flexible outreach support for individuals in their own or family homes. Support is tailored—from help at home and shopping to accessing education, work, socialising, or sports—and can be regular or as needed.

Additional support includes:

  • Wood Workshops: Individuals build furniture, toys, and restore old items with a trained carpenter.

  • Well-being: A beauty therapist provides massages, foot spas, moisturisation, and make-up sessions, including training.

  • Communication: We support communication using switches, signing, speech therapy, iPads, and PECs books.

  • Physiotherapy: Led by neuro-physiotherapist Radoslaw Filipczuk, sessions cover balance, mobility, posture, aquatic therapy, and more. Delivered after assessment at home, in service, or at the centre.

  • Equals Moving On: An accredited, flexible curriculum for young adults covering daily living, leisure, work-related learning, creativity, and world studies.
