Our Home

Cote House is our nursing care home located in Wiltshire. Here, we support up to 11 people with learning disabilities and physical disabilities, brain injury non-rehabilitation, challenging behaviours, epilepsy, Cerebral palsy, Down’s syndrome, Prader-Willi syndrome, Huntington’s Disease and mental health needs.

At Cote House, we offer long-term, short-term, convalescent, palliative and end of life care. We can also provide day care places. We support people with the utmost dignity and respect, and we are committed to supporting people sensitively to maintain choice and independence.

All of the people we support are encouraged to choose what they would like to eat; meals are home cooked from fresh ingredients, some of which are home-grown, and menus are designed to meet individuals’ needs. Cote House has a holistic approach to caring for people who have degenerative and life limiting or threatening conditions.

Facilities

Cote House has 11 single bedrooms, located on the ground and first floors. Bedrooms on the first floor can be accessed by the passenger lift, making the home accessible to wheelchair users. Our bathrooms are fitted with specialist baths and we also have a wet room. Our home has lovely communal areas, such as a large lounge area, a conservatory and a spacious dining room.

All of our bedrooms are personalised to suit individuals’ wishes and tastes. Our large garden is wheelchair accessible and has raised flower beds and a vegetable plot, where the people we support are encouraged to help out and get involved in gardening!

Cote House is set within its own grounds in a quiet residential area of Chippenham. Locally, you can find beautiful walking routes to get out and enjoy some fresh air.

Our home has good transport links into the town where you can find many local amenities such as supermarkets, shops and leisure facilities.

Our Team

We pride ourselves on the quality and dedication of the staff team. There is a qualified general nurse on duty at all times, who is able and equipped to provide clinical support. There is also a team of support workers, who together ensure each person’s social, emotional and medical needs are monitored and met.

We have close links to other healthcare professionals and the local doctor visits once a week.
