Our Home

Agricola House is located in Greater Manchester and provides support for up to eight adults with brain injuries.

We support individuals to increase their independence in a supportive community setting. Our team adopt a person-centred approach, aiming to support people to regain social and cognitive and skills, while developing their confidence and independence.

At Agricola House, we offer evidenced-based neurological therapies, including speech and language therapy, physiotherapy, occupational therapy with psychology input as required.

Therapy pathways are carefully designed and integrated into individual daily routines, with support centring around rehabilitation techniques that promote independence.

Progress is monitored using innovative goal scoring systems, providing motivation to the people we support. Active vocational opportunities are available in the wider community, and they can be developed at a pace that is suitable for each person we support.

Facilities

Our warm and welcoming home has been designed to the highest standard to enhance the support we offer.
We have eight bedrooms with level access en-suite facilities, supporting additional needs of those with physical disabilities.

We benefit from a wide range of communal facilities, including two kitchens – one of which can be used as a therapy kitchen, a spacious living room and an assisted bathroom. Our home is wheelchair accessible throughout, and ceiling tracking is available as required. Outside the home, we have a beautiful garden with a level access patio area, so everyone can reap the benefits of our outdoor space!

Located in Tottington, we have excellent transport links into Bury Town Centre where we love to visit the local market! We can also access nearby amenities, including shops, cafes, restaurants, community library, a GP surgery, dentist, and a beautiful local park.
We’re based in a supportive community, and we encourage the people we support to take an active role in the local area.

Our home is not far from the city of Manchester and the neighbouring towns of Bolton and Oldham, all of which offer wider opportunities for the people we support.
